For the fourth year running, the team from Consciously Kinky are coordinating the Masterclasses at Darklands this year. We've expanded even further and this year there will be almost 70 classes covering everything from hypnosis to nullos, politics to bondage, personas to cigar play.

Learn how to navigate your way around this massive event, from understanding the wristbands, to which are the best toilets to use, we cover it all. What to pack. Where to go to meet people. What models of consent to expect. When to go to the market and when the best time to rest is. PLUS meet other newbies. So if if you’re coming alone you’ll get to see some friendly faces to connect with in the bars, dance floors and maybe in the darkroom (or hotel bedroom)!

Mental Health in Kink Spaces

You’d think that kinky spaces were all about feeling horny, sexy, happy and joyous. But too many people can also feel shame, fear, anxiety, imposter syndrome, lonely or disappointed. Many often feel a drop in mood and energy after events. How do you know if you’re alone in feeling the way you do? How do you know if it’s appropriate? How can you overcome it and be the person your mind is telling you to be? Where can you get help if you’re badly impacted by the emotions or feelings you have? English Leather Master and English Leather Master’s sub from consciouslykinky.org who are trained mental health professionals, will give an overview of what pushes our emotional buttons in BDSM and offer practical tips for overcoming some of the darker emotions that can hold us back.

Developing your Kinky Persona: Hypnotically

Who do you want to be at Beyond Darklands? An alpha top? A mindless himbo? A sexy slut? A willing slave? Whichever persona you want to embody, this class will combine hypnotic trance work with persona building to help you through the weekend. No experience of hypnosis necessary… but come with an idea of what you’d like to become (even if it’s not fully formed). As an accredited coach and hypnotherapist, English Leather Master from ConsciouslyKinky will bring his experience and knowledge to this class for you to take forward.

Overcoming Insecurities in the Fetish Scene

More people than you know find kink scenes places that fill them with shame or insecurities. Whether you’re worried about your body or finding friends, you’re not alone. This class considers where our shame or other feelings come from, suggests practical ways to overcome them this weekend, and points you in the direction of getting even more help long term. English Leather Master and his sub (from ConsciouslyKinky) are accredited Mental Health professionals who help people in the community they will unpick the topic of insecurities and offer hints and tips to defeat them.

Pain Essentials

Pain 101. Experienced in BDSM English Leather Master and his sub host this popular class covers the basics of pain play. Why do we like pain, how can we take more, what is safe, what happens when things go wrong. In this class we will cover everything from negotiation and safe words, to types of pain, what neuro chemicals are released, where you can safely hit someone and how can you create a session to build and build to take more… and of course the importance of aftercare.

Sub Space

6 March 2026 (Beyond Darklands, Antwerp)

Doms may think that they rule the world, and they certainly seem to do a lot of talking, but us subs have challenges, feelings and needs too. In a world where it feels like subs don’t have much of a voice and we can feel isolated, this class will be an open and safe space for subs to come together and discuss their challenges, needs, problems and thoughts and support each other. Whilst this class is predominantly aimed at submissives, all are welcome. Doms, though, will be respectfully asked to listen more than they talk. This class will be led by ELM’s Sub from ConsciouslyKinky.org who is a sub known in the community, and is also a mental health professional. We may also allow English Leather Master, also from ConsciouslyKinky to contribute!

Cuddle Huddle

Beyond Darklands can be an amazing place to explore your sexuality, but sometimes the sex can come without connection. This workshop will flip the script, allowing you to get physical connection without words and without taking your clothes off or even getting turned on. Come ready for hugs and cuddles (so wear comfortable clothes). A quiet space in the middle of an intense weekend run by English Leather Master, an accredited coach and hypnotherapist from ConsciouslyKinky.
