Retreat Location
Learn more about the location of our Power, Presence and Intimacy retreat this summer.

On Friday 3 July, a group of GBTQ+ and kinky men will get together at this secluded oasis in the Essex countryside.
This isn't some outdoor retreat centre with archery, nor is it a corporate hotel conference room.
This is a private house that’s ours for the weekend. A place for reflection less than an hour from London, but a billion miles from the stresses of everyday life… and the people and places that make us feel anything other than welcomed.
A place to spend a weekend thinking about who you are, where you're going, and how you want to show up in the world: on the scene, in your relationships and in your life.
With plenty of space to move around, beautiful gardens for walking and talking, and comfortable rooms for gathering, it's exactly the sort of place we hoped we'd find for this retreat.
You may also meet DogDog, the resident rescue hound. He wandered in one day and decided this was a good place to stay. If you come along, you'll probably understand why.
One of the things I like most about this venue is that it feels private. Not hidden away from the world, but separate from it enough that you can stop rushing around for a couple of days and actually think. It's the perfect place to keep your clothes on but go deeper as a kinky GBTQ+ man who wants to spend a weekend reflecting on who you are, what matters to you and plan the next stage in your journey.
Our retreat is non-residential, but the location is a quick taxi ride from Witham station and there are many options for hotels in the area.
Accommodation
This is a non-residential weekend. The following hotels are within easy distance of the retreat, and there are plenty of inexpensive taxis available.
- White Hart Hotel (Witham town centre)
- Mill House Hotel (Langford)
- Blue Anchor (Feering)
- Premier Inn Braintree
- Travelodge Colchester Feering
We recommend booking early, as summer weekends can become busy.
Getting to Witham
Trains run regularly from London Liverpool Street or Stratford to Witham and take a maximum of 45 minutes. The house is a short taxi ride from the station.
You an also drive to the house, and there's a load of space for parking.
